I am starting to realize before long we will have another addition to our family. I know our lives will be different, but I have really enjoyed this time with my son! Ok, I am sitting here crying so it is time to wrap it up. Enjoy the snow pics!

Snow!
Ethan was so excited to wake up to SNOW on Tuesday! He would have ran out there in his PJ's if I would have let him. I had to convince him to eat breakfast first. He played for longer than I would have imagined and I actually had to ask him to come in a warm up a couple of times. I was able to play with him for a little bit. I pulled him around in the snow sled we had. He grinned the whole time. I love his beautiful smile (minus his gray teeth from when he fell)!

Help
Ok, so my goal of getting Ethan out of pull ups at night is not going so well. I have made a chart with stickers. I have talked about it every night before bedtime and I have cut off liquids at 7:30pm. I am out of ideas if anyone has any....... let me know.

New Year
It's a new year! I don't usually make resolutions but I have put some goals down for myself.
#1 I am trying to be a little bit more organized with my time. I realized that I had allowed Ethan to stop having quiet time (since he doesn't nap anymore) in his room. It made me realize that I wasn't having any down time either and so I have scheduled a time everyday he has to stay in his room reading until I get him. That has already been a blessing.
#2. We are trying to get Ethan out of his pull ups at night. I though that he was just "taking advantage" of having it on. We tried for two nights without success. I then bribed him!! I know...I don't think you are supposed to do that with kids. We made a daily chart and I told him that if he had 3 dry nights I would take him to get new Lego's. Well he has made great progress. I have also cut off liquids at 7:30pm. He went two nights dry and then I forgot and let him have hot chocolate late last night. We will continue to try to get this accomplished before he turns 4.
#3. Spend time daily in God's word. I have also allowed other things to get in the way of time with the Lord!
There are so many other things that I would like to accomplish but this is a great start.

Andrew Peterson - Labor of Love
As we are getting closer to Christmas.... I just cannot imagine what Mary and Joseph went through to bring Jesus into the world. This song brings it all into perspective.
