Sprinkler

Well, we did it. Ethan put on his bathing suit yesterday and played in the sprinkler. It was so hot outside yesterday afternoon. He had a blast. Pickles always plays with him, she loves the sprinkler too! He played so hard that he passed out in my arms at 7:30pm last night. I thought he would be up at 5am due to falling asleep so early, but he woke up at 7am refreshed and ready to go. I guess he is ready for summer time.

Cinnamon Toast

Well, I am not really sure if anyone reads all this stuff that I have been rambling about but I saw a neat blog on Pioneer Woman yesterday. She talked about making cinnamon toast and Ethan and I tried it this morning. Well...... it was the BEST! I never use as much butter as she does but it turned out awesome and I think this is going to be one of our favorite breakfast food to make together.

Ethan's Prediction

The other night we were saying our prayers before bedtime. I told Ethan that we needed to pray for aunt Manda (Amanda) and the baby. He said her name is not baby, HER name is "Suzie" pronounced (sou-see). I said "Oh really", so I guess he thinks it is a girl and decided on his own to name it. I was telling my mom the other night and he also repeated the name to her. "Yeah, her name is (sou-see) (bow-be)" He added a middle name in there. I couldn't wait to call Amanda and let her know that Ethan said that the baby was a girl and her name is (sou-see)(bow-be) She laughed so hard. Who knows where they come up with this stuff?

A visit

We are having a very busy week! Meme came in late on Monday night to help us out with Ethan. John had surgery on his wrist on Tuesday. We went in at 7am and left at 1:30pm. He had it at the surgery center and everyone treated him so well.

Meme promised Ethan some ice cream that evening so we took advantage of the buy 1 Blizzard get 1 for 25 cents. (Great Deal!)

Mom and I did a few errands together on Wednesday and had Franco's (a must when my family comes down). It is always so hard to say goodbye because we never really know when we will get together again.

I don't know if you have seen the advertisement for the new Disney-nature movie OCEANS, but it is showing tomorrow on Earth Day. It looks pretty cool and educational for kids! I am planning to take Ethan if everything goes as planned tomorrow. Here are a couple of links. Check it out.
