Fruit of the Spirit

Ethan and I are learning to memorize scripture together. He is learning so quickly.

Ethan's Room

I painted Ethan's room over a year ago and it took me that long to figure out what we wanted to do on the wall. Wall art is so expensive, but I looked on Etsy and found these cool airplanes! So his room is almost finished except adding a couple of shelves. I got some good pics of him. He was so excited to show off his room.

Celebrate!

We took a trip to Decatur and met Tanner, Amanda, Paige, Landri, & Little Meme there. Ethan and I were so excited to get away after both being sick for over a week. We celebrated Paige's 6th birthday, Ethan's 3rd, and Little Meme's 85th! We had steak for dinner and I brought a cake from Halfmann's!

Ethan was so excited to have the girls to play with. The weather was beautiful and they played

outside most of the time. It was so nice to spend some time with family. We did lots of visiting and catching up. Mom kept the kids on Friday while Tanner, Amanda, and I had lunch and did some shopping. The time passed to quickly and I am looking forward to the next time we can get together.

Sick

Well we have been home since Friday. Ethan started feeling bad friday. We went to see Dr on monday and he said he had a virus (cold) and an ear infection. So after starting antibiotics he is slowly getting better. Man are we ready to get out of the house! We are planning to go see my mom, dad, and little meme in Decatur next week. Amanda, Paige, and Landri are going to meet us there. I am ready for a break and spend some time with my family. I will take my camera and hopefully get some good pics.

Park!

After many days of cold and dreary weather, we were craving some Sunshine. We were so glad that it warmed up and we got to go to the park today. We met some friends at Unidad Park and had a blast. We stayed 2 hours, which was a record for us! I think Ethan was running, climbing, jumping, sliding and swinging the entire 2 hours. He was exhausted! That made for a great nap. We thanked Jesus many times for the sun and for a much needed break from the winter weather.
